Bear Creek Canyon
Skill Level: Easy to Moderate
The Bear Creek Canyon is roughly 4 miles round trip from town to fall. A great local hike and a favorite for locals, this trail has a elevation gain of 1,040.

Find the trail at South Pine Street in Telluride, Colorado.
Jud Wiebe Trail
Skill Level: Easy to Moderate.
Endless views are abundant on this trail. Find the trail at the north end of Aspen Street. Take a left and cross the bridge over the Cornet Creek. The Jud Wiebe trail loops above the town with views of Bridal Veil and Ingram Falls. This is a quick steep hike that winds along a nice creek to waterfalls.
Bridal Veil Falls
Skill Level: Moderate.
The Bridal Veil Falls is a must-do hike if you're in Telluride during the summer. After this moderate hike you will stare in awe at a 300 foot waterfall that is postcard perfect and a Colorado icon.
San Miguel River Trail
Skill Level: Easy
Enjoy easy access and a refershing walk along the San Miguel River. Recently expanded, it's about 2.75 miles one way with a 170-foot elevation gain. Begin at the east end of town at East Colorado and Columbine Street, past Town Park.
Sneffels Highline Trail
Skill Level: Difficult
Looking to challenge yourself with the call of the wild? Step on the trail of the Sneffels Highline Trail and prepare for a rigorous adventure filled with 100% rewarding views!
Follow the Jud Wiebe trail and at .5 miles take the path to the left that crosses Butcher Creek. Turn right at the sign post and climb north. This is a 13-mile loop with a 3,600 foot elevation gain. This trail goes above Timberline so be prepared for all weather scenarious.
Blue Lake
Skill Level: Moderate to Difficult
This is a moderate hike and is accessed via the Bridal Veil Falls. Expect a 4 hour round trip hike to spectacular blue lake with wildflowers galore!
Lizard Head Wilderness Area
Skill Level: Varies
Couple amazing views with solitude and you have the Lizard Head Wilderness area. This area contains some of Colorado's most inspiring scenery and rugged alpine trekking. With three 14,000 foot peaks and ideal high-altitude hiking, this is an area for experienced hikers.
